‘Sales Manager/Sales Head’
For MV-Altios in India

The focus of your tasks is the implementation
of the sales strategy (market analysis, market development) for our pyro-electric infrared detectors in the sales region of India, to strengthen and further develop the Asian market.

Qualifications
Completed studies in an engineering, business, or scientific field, or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience.

Experience:
12+ years of experience in sales, ideally for electronic components with a focus on Indian/Asian market.

Language
Fluent in English & Hindi

Desired skills

Good knowledge in project management, marketing, and distribution.
Basic knowledge of electronic components and optical sensors is an advantage.
Very good written and spoken communication skills in English.
Willingness to travel.
Assertiveness, good communication skills, and intercultural competence.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluent in English and Hindi, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Strong leadership and team building skills

Job description

You will manage existing customer accounts and acquire new customers.
You will travel within the sales area for customer visits (4 out of 5 days per week).
You will accompany our customers through the design phases of their product development and provide our technical support.
You will prepare offers and lead contract negotiations.
You will maintain business relationships and continuously expand them for long-term OEM component business.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets whilst identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in India.
Work closely with colleagues across the world in roles such as marketing and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
Identity and report on business opportunities in target markets
Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
