ABOUT THE ROLE
– As an Assistant Manager (Toolroom), he/she should have experience
in machine shop environment.
Who can apply?
Toolroom Management: Supervise and manage toolroom personnel,
ensuring efficient operation and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and
calibration of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Inventory Control: Manage toolroom inventory, including ordering and
maintaining necessary supplies and parts.
Scheduling: Coordinate with production managers to schedule toolroom
activities to support manufacturing schedules and minimize downtime.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to
ensure tools and equipment meet required specifications.
Training and Development: Provide training and support to toolroom
staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool usage, maintenance,
and repairs.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process
improvements to enhance toolroom efficiency and productivity.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all toolroom activities comply with company
safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in the use and maintenance of various machine shop tools and
equipment, including CNC machines.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with tool management
software.
