ABOUT THE ROLE
As Assistant Manager – Accounts, he/she will be responsible for
managing day to day accounting operations within the manufacturing
group. This role requires a person with a clear understanding of
accounting in a manufacturing environment. The Asst. Manager will
ensure that day-to-day transactions is entered accurately and are in
compliance with regulations, and the implementation of efficient
financial practices.
Who can apply?
Key Accounting Operations:
– Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial and management
reporting
– Supervise accounting teams across all companies, ensuring proper
allocation of tasks and efficient workflow
– Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general
ledger functions
– Maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company
assets.
Compliance and Reporting:
– Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and
standards
– Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and
stakeholders
– Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
– Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, banking, and financial
transactions.
ERP and Financial Systems:
– Manage and enhance financial systems, ensuring their accuracy and
reliability
– Drive improvements in ERP systems and other financial tools to
streamline processes.
Skills:
– Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
– Candidate should be well versed in SAP & Tally
– Candidate should have a working knowledge of GST, TDS, Balance
sheet, finalization and other monthly, quarterly and annual statutory
obligations
Work Environment
– Office-based role with occasional travel to subsidiary locations
– Fast paced and dynamic work environment requiring flexibility and
adaptability.
