Transforming Lives Through Education: The Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama School
Education is the cornerstone of empowerment, and nowhere is this clearer than at the Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama School in Odisha. This extraordinary school offers tribal girls an escape from early marriages and limited futures by providing them with education and opportunity.
Despite its government-funded capacity of 350, the school supports over 500 girls, driven by the dedication of its founders and staff. However, delayed funding creates challenges. That’s why Maier Vidorno Altios committed ₹10 lakhs in 2024 to ensure the school’s operations continue uninterrupted. Our leadership and employees have also personally contributed – with donations raised from across the 22 countries of ALTIOS – and we’re matching employee donations to amplify the impact. Our MD also paid for an external evaluation of the school which not just showed the incredible impact it is having right now, but highlighted the critical need for more support and funding to improve the hostels and infrastructure and further grow the school.

Building for the Future: Two Foundations for 2025
Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that our Group will launch two Foundations next year. The Maier Vidorno Altios Foundation will focus on our responsibility to contributing to India’s progress. This initiative will allow us to expand our efforts, collaborate with more organizations, and create sustainable, scalable solutions to social challenges in India.
The foundation will also help us leverage our team and our clients to maximise our impact. Our international Group will launch the ALTIOS Foundation in 2025 which will look at the same responsible approach to engaging on People, Planet and Profit across the globe. The two foundations will work together but allow us to be even more “locally global”.
